Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that WCS will be hosting Maine children’s author Cynthia Lord on Thursday and Friday this week. Our class will be visiting with her on Friday morning at 9 a.m. along with the rest of the first graders. We are very excited to meet her and hear what she has to say about writing. I think she’s going to read us a story or two as well.

If you pre-ordered books, they will go home by Friday. There is still some availability and those titles can be seen on the WCS PTF Facebook page. I have also given a paperback copy of  the book Hot Rod Hamster and the Wacky Whatever Race to everyone in our class and it will be autographed by her. Enjoy and be sure to ask your child about our visit on Friday.
